History

After graduating from St. Louis University School of Dentistry and serving three years in the Navy, Dr. J. Richard Landgraf started practicing dentistry in Dellwood, Missouri in 1956. He moved the practice to its current location, in Florissant at Rue St. Catherine and New Florissant Road, in 1980. Dr. John Landgraf joined his father’s practice in 1978, after his graduation from the Washington University School of Dental Medicine. He assumed management of the office in 1988, when his father retired. The legacy of friendly, personal service begun by Dr. J. Richard Landgraf fifty years ago lives on in our family-oriented practice today. Our expert staff is fully trained in a wide range of treatment options, including professional competencies in Root Canal Therapy on all types of teeth; Oral Surgery (including moderately difficult cases and wisdom teeth extractions); Orthodontics and Dental Orthopedics; Dental Implants and Restorations; Relaxation Techniques for anxious patients; Cosmetic dental makeovers; and Full and Partial Dentures. When necessary, we also have ties to numerous dental specialists in the area who are happy to receive referrals from our office on complex cases.

Dr. Richard Landgraf started the practice and his son, John, runs it now. Sean is the 3rd generation of dentist.

John Landgraf, D.M.D.

Dr Landgraf began his career in dentistry over 35 years ago, when he worked as a dental laboratory technician making crowns and dentures for dentists. In dental practice for over 25 years, Dr. Landgraf remains on top of his profession in order to provide patients the best dental care available. An honors graduate of Washington University School of Dental Medicine, he is also a past instructor in the University’s Department of Operative Dentistry. Dr. Landgraf is able to offer his patients the best options because he completes more than twice the required continuing education for licensure each year. He is also a member of local study clubs, which provide professional forums to explore developments in the dental field.

Dr. Landgraf is an active member of the American Dental Association, the International Association of Orthodontics, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also volunteers as a staff dentist at the Community Health in Partnership Services (CHIPS) Clinic and as an educator to train and certify dental assistants performing expanded dental functions. Patients can feel confident that Dr. Landgraf possesses the background, the experience, and the passion to provide the best available dental care.

Dr. Sean Landgraf, DDS

Dr. Sean Landgraf, DDS is the third generation of the family to join the practice. He graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry and is excited to carry on the family business. He always knew dentistry was the career for him and started working toward it at a young age. He is now a proud member of the Florissant Dental Services team. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater St Louis Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Sean said his love for dentistry stems from his enjoyment in fixing things. When not in the office, he enjoys repairing broken items and bringing them back to life. “It’s extremely satisfying repairing things, I feel the same way after helping people with dentistry.” Dr. Sean also enjoys St. Louis sporting events, the outdoors, and traveling.

Dr. Jeanine Sasek, DDS

Jeanine Sasek, DDS grew up in Moberly, Missouri. She received a BSHES degree in Nutritional Sciences at University of Missouri – Columbia in 2004. She earned her DDS at UMKC School of Dentistry in2010. She has worked and lived in Columbia, MO until relocating to O’Fallon, MO in Dec 2014. She is married to Scott and has two kids, Mackenzie and Landon,and they live with their two cats. Her hobbies include annoying her husband,exercise (group exercise classes, yoga, weight training, and more), chasing her kids and reading them lots of books, and her guilty pleasure is going to garage sales. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater St. Louis Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. Quality care is important to her as are prevention and patient comfort. Dr. Sasek believes in educating her patients on the effects their habits can have on their oral health and the systemic oral health connection. It’s her vision to motivate people to make positive changes to improve their oral health and therefore overall health.
